Last Updated: July 26, 2026 |
Yolitia Academy (“Yolitia Academy,” “Academy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an educational program operated by Centro Yolitia LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit Academy webpages, register for or purchase educational programs, create or use an online learning account, participate in live or self-paced educational activities, request information, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with Yolitia Academy.
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION |
1. Organization and Scope
Yolitia Academy is the professional education and continuing education division of Centro Yolitia LLC. The Academy provides courses, workshops, certificate programs, professional development, clinical supervision education, and related learning activities.
Registering for or participating in an Academy course does not, by itself, establish a therapist-client, psychologist-patient, counselor-client, or other clinical treatment relationship with Centro Yolitia LLC or an Academy instructor.

We may collect emails, contact-form submissions, customer-service communications, certificate requests, complaints, and other information you voluntarily provide.
Information Collected Automatically
- IP address; browser and device type; operating system; pages visited; referring page; date/time of access; approximate location derived from IP address; session information; website interactions; and cookie or similar technology identifiers.
3. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you register, purchase, create an account, participate in a training, submit coursework, request a certificate, subscribe, complete an evaluation, or contact us.
- Automatically through cookies, log files, analytics technologies, security tools, and similar technologies.
- From service providers that support payments, learning management, videoconferencing, hosting, email, registration, analytics, security, and customer support.
- From professional, regulatory, credentialing, or public sources when appropriate to verify license or credential information.
4. How We Use Personal Information
- Provide and administer educational services, accounts, registrations, coursework, assessments, live sessions, attendance, and certificates.
- Document and verify continuing education participation, completion, and records, including responding to appropriate licensing-board, credentialing, or audit inquiries.

- Send transactional communications such as confirmations, access instructions, schedule changes, reminders, completion notices, and certificate notifications.
- Improve courses, website performance, program design, student experience, cybersecurity, and technical operations.
- Send marketing and educational communications where permitted by law and subject to available opt-out rights.
- Comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, prevent misuse, protect systems and individuals, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. Continuing Education and Credential Verification
When reasonably necessary to verify participation or continuing education credit, we may maintain or disclose limited information such as participant name, professional credential, license information, course title, program date, educational hours, attendance, completion status, certificate number, and related verification information.
Such information may be provided to a licensing board, credentialing organization, continuing education approval organization, auditor, or similar entity when required by an applicable approval, required by law, requested by the participant, or reasonably necessary to verify a certificate or CE record.
6. Live Classes, Videoconferencing, and Recordings
Some Academy programs are delivered through live videoconferencing. Other participants may see or hear your name, image, voice, professional background, or comments that you voluntarily disclose. Participants should not disclose confidential client or patient information during Academy activities.
If the Academy intends to record a live training in a manner that may capture identifiable participant images, voices, or contributions, appropriate notice will be provided. Participants may not independently record Academy courses unless expressly authorized in writing.
7. Confidential Client Information in Educational Activities
Participants are responsible for protecting confidential information relating to their own clients, patients, students, supervisees, or other third parties. Do not submit identifiable protected health information or confidential client information through assignments, discussion boards, chat, email, course evaluations, live training discussions, or Academy forms unless specifically instructed and legally authorized. Clinical examples should be appropriately de-identified.
8. How We May Disclose Personal Information
- Service providers supporting website hosting, payments, course delivery, videoconferencing, email, registration, data storage, cybersecurity, analytics, accounting, customer support, and marketing.
- Professional or continuing education organizations when necessary to verify attendance, completion, CE credit, or program compliance.
- Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, consultants, and insurers when reasonably necessary.
- Government, courts, regulators, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or legal claims.
- Parties to a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
9. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Yolitia Academy does not sell personal information for monetary consideration as part of its ordinary educational operations. Some state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly. If our use of advertising or analytics technologies is subject to a legally required opt-out, we will provide the applicable mechanism.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our websites and educational platforms may use essential, functional, analytics, and advertising technologies. These technologies may support authentication, security, registration, preferences, analytics, performance measurement, and marketing. Independent providers may process information according to their own privacy practices. Browser or site-based controls may allow you to limit certain cookies; disabling some technologies may affect functionality.
11. Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals
Because there is no universal standard for legacy “Do Not Track” signals, our services may not respond to every such signal. Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid universal opt-out preference mechanism, such as Global Privacy Control for a covered activity, we will process the signal as required by law.
12. Email, Text, and Telephone Communications
We may send transactional communications concerning purchases, registrations, account access, schedules, coursework, certificates, and other existing relationships. We may also send marketing communications where permitted by law. Marketing email messages will provide an applicable unsubscribe mechanism. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or administrative communications.
If optional SMS or telephone marketing is offered, consent and opt-out mechanisms will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing an educational program unless permitted by applicable law. Message and data rates may apply.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, contractual obligations, accreditation or CE requirements, tax and accounting rules, dispute resolution, and legitimate recordkeeping needs. Course-completion and CE records may be kept for an extended period to permit later verification. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it.
14. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. No Internet transmission, website, electronic storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and promptly reporting suspected compromise.
15. Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, the type of information involved, and whether a particular privacy statute applies to Yolitia Academy, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; withdraw marketing preferences; receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable rights; or appeal certain denials.
These rights are subject to legal exceptions and applicability thresholds. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
16. How to Submit a Privacy Request
Email info@centroyolitia.com with the subject “Privacy Request – Yolitia Academy,” or write to the address in Section 25. Describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the relevant records. We will request only information reasonably necessary for verification and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
17. California Privacy Disclosures
To the extent applicable California privacy law applies to Yolitia Academy or a particular activity, California residents may have rights concerning categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, recipients, access, correction, deletion, sale or sharing, sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination. The categories we may collect are described in Section 2; purposes are described in Section 4; and categories of recipients are described in Section 8.
California residents entitled to exercise applicable rights may use the procedure in Section 16. Our treatment of browser-based privacy preference signals is described in Section 11.
18. Nevada Privacy Rights
Yolitia Academy is operated by Centro Yolitia LLC in Nevada. Nevada residents may have rights under Nevada privacy law relating to certain covered information collected through websites and online services. Yolitia Academy does not sell covered information for monetary consideration as part of its ordinary educational operations. Applicable verified Nevada opt-out requests may be submitted to info@centroyolitia.com with the subject “Nevada Privacy Request.”
19. Children’s Privacy
Yolitia Academy’s professional education and continuing education programs are intended primarily for adults and professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 in circumstances subject to COPPA. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us.
20. Third-Party Websites and Services
Academy websites or courses may link to or integrate with independent payment processors, videoconferencing platforms, learning-management systems, social networks, licensing boards, credentialing organizations, and other external services. We do not control their independent privacy practices. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply when you use those services.
21. International Users
Yolitia Academy is operated in the United States. If you access Academy services from another country, information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. This policy is primarily designed to describe our U.S. practices and does not represent that every international privacy regime applies merely because a website can be accessed internationally.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in services, technology, providers, business practices, or law. When required, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes through the website, learning platform, email, account notice, or another reasonable method. The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version.
