YOLITIA ACADEMY
Purchase, Refunds, Payments,
Security & Satisfaction Policy
United States • Online Courses • Live Training • Continuing Education
Effective Date: July 26, 2026 |
This Policy applies to purchases made from Yolitia Academy, the education and professional training division of Centro Yolitia LLC, including online courses, live trainings, continuing education programs, certificate programs, downloadable educational resources, and related Academy services.
Important: This Policy is incorporated into the Yolitia Academy Terms and Conditions. Program-specific refund, cancellation, transfer, or payment terms disclosed on a course page, checkout page, registration agreement, invoice, or written offer control for that program when they are more specific than this general Policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

1. Purpose and Scope
This Policy explains how purchases are completed, when refunds or transfers may be available, how approved refunds are processed, how payment information is handled, what happens when technical problems prevent access, and the limits of any satisfaction or educational-outcome guarantee.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal or state law.
2. Purchases and Enrollment
By purchasing or enrolling in a Yolitia Academy course or program, you agree to the price, dates, delivery format, prerequisites, completion requirements, access period, refund/cancellation terms, and other material conditions presented before purchase.
- Enrollment is not final until payment is successfully processed or Yolitia Academy otherwise confirms registration.
- You are responsible for providing accurate registration, contact, professional credential, and billing information.
- You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted for the transaction.
- Yolitia Academy may decline, reverse, or cancel a transaction affected by suspected fraud, duplicate payment, pricing or technical error, eligibility restrictions, capacity limitations, or other legitimate operational reasons.
- If Yolitia Academy cancels a paid purchase and does not provide the purchased service or an accepted replacement, the amount paid for the canceled service will be refunded as described below.
3. Educational and Professional Nature of Purchases
Yolitia Academy provides education, training, and professional development. Purchasing or completing a course does not by itself grant a professional license, scope of practice, certification from a governmental licensing board, or legal authority to diagnose or treat clients.
Where continuing education (CE) credit is offered, participants remain responsible for confirming that a course is acceptable for their profession, license type, jurisdiction, renewal cycle, and individual licensing requirements unless Yolitia Academy expressly states otherwise in writing.
4. Prices, Currency, Taxes, and Promotions
Unless otherwise stated, prices for U.S. purchases are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD). Applicable taxes, fees, or other charges will be disclosed as required before the transaction is completed.
- Prices may change for future purchases without notice. A later price change does not alter a completed transaction.
- Promotional pricing, early-registration offers, scholarships, coupons, and discount codes may have separate eligibility criteria and expiration dates.
- Promotional codes and discounts have no cash value and generally cannot be applied retroactively after a purchase is completed unless Yolitia Academy expressly agrees otherwise.
- If a refund is approved, it is ordinarily based on the net amount actually paid for the applicable purchase, subject to applicable law and any specifically disclosed non-refundable charges.
5. Payment Methods and Payment Processing
Yolitia Academy may accept credit cards, debit cards, electronic payment services, payment links, installment arrangements, or other payment methods made available at checkout. Available methods may change over time.
Payments may be processed by independent third-party payment processors. Those providers may collect and process payment-card or banking information under their own terms, privacy notices, and security practices. Yolitia Academy does not require participants to send complete payment-card numbers or card security codes by ordinary email.
6. Payment Security
Yolitia Academy uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information involved in online transactions. Where payment is processed through a third-party payment provider, the payment provider is responsible for the payment environment it operates and may use encryption, tokenization, fraud monitoring, or other security controls.
No electronic payment or Internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Participants should use secure devices and networks, protect account credentials, and promptly notify their card issuer, financial institution, and Yolitia Academy if they suspect an unauthorized transaction involving an Academy purchase.
7. General Refund Framework
Because Yolitia Academy offers different types of educational products, there is not one identical refund rule for every offering. The following order of priority applies:
- The refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or transfer terms displayed for the specific program at the time of purchase.
- Any written registration agreement, invoice, cohort agreement, or special offer terms provided for that purchase.
- This general Policy when the program-specific materials do not address the issue.
- Any non-waivable refund, rescission, billing-error, or consumer-protection right provided by applicable law.
Key principle: Immediate-access digital products and scheduled live programs are treated differently. Review the course-specific cancellation terms before completing payment. |
8. Immediate-Access and Self-Paced Digital Courses
Unless a specific course states a different policy, an immediate-access or self-paced digital course is generally non-refundable after access credentials have been delivered and the participant has accessed, streamed, downloaded, or otherwise used any material portion of the purchased content.
This limitation reflects the non-returnable nature of digital educational content after delivery. It does not apply where a refund or other remedy is required by law, where Yolitia Academy materially failed to provide the purchased content, or where an Academy-side technical failure prevents meaningful access and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period after notice.
A request made before digital access has been provided or used will be evaluated under the applicable course-specific terms and the circumstances of the transaction.
9. Live, Synchronous, and Cohort-Based Programs
Live programs may involve limited enrollment, faculty commitments, scheduled instruction, Zoom or other synchronous sessions, advance materials, and continuing education administration. For these reasons, refund and transfer deadlines may differ from those applicable to self-paced courses.
The cancellation and refund schedule stated on the applicable course page, checkout page, registration materials, or enrollment agreement controls. Unless expressly stated, purchasing a seat does not create an unrestricted right to cancel at any time for a full refund.
A participant who cannot attend should contact info@centroyolitia.com as soon as possible. Depending on the applicable program terms and available capacity, Yolitia Academy may offer a refund, partial refund, transfer to another cohort, registration credit, or participant substitution. Any such accommodation that is not required by the published program terms or applicable law is discretionary and does not establish a precedent for other purchases.
10. No-Shows, Partial Attendance, and Failure to Complete
Except where a program-specific policy or applicable law provides otherwise, no refund is due merely because a participant:
- does not attend a scheduled session;
- joins late or leaves early;
- does not complete assignments, quizzes, evaluations, attendance requirements, portfolio work, or other course requirements;
- does not earn a certificate because completion standards were not met;
- does not use all available course materials during the access period; or
- changes personal or professional plans after the applicable refund deadline.
11. Technical Access Problems
Participants experiencing a technical problem that materially prevents access should contact Yolitia Academy promptly at info@centroyolitia.com and provide sufficient information for troubleshooting, such as the course name, approximate time of the issue, device/browser information, and screenshots when appropriate.
Yolitia Academy will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an alternative means of receiving the purchased educational content when the problem is attributable to the Academy or a platform it selected. A refund may be provided when an Academy-side access failure materially prevents delivery and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period.
Refunds are generally not provided for problems caused solely by a participant’s device, Internet connection, unsupported software, incorrect email address, failure to check spam/junk folders, forgotten credentials, employer firewall, failure to install required software, or other circumstances outside Yolitia Academy’s reasonable control, although we will attempt to assist where practical.
12. Academy Cancellation, Material Rescheduling, or Non-Delivery
If Yolitia Academy cancels a paid program before it is substantially delivered, participants will ordinarily be offered one or more of the following, as appropriate:
- transfer to a rescheduled date;
- transfer to a substantially equivalent program;
- Academy credit accepted by the participant; or
- a refund of the amount paid for the canceled program.
If a material schedule change substantially alters the purchased program and the participant does not accept a reasonably equivalent alternative, Yolitia Academy will provide the remedy required by the applicable program terms and law. Minor faculty substitutions, platform changes, schedule adjustments, or other changes that do not materially reduce the educational service do not automatically create a right to a refund.
13. Continuing Education Credit and Licensing-Board Decisions
A licensing board’s later decision not to accept a course for a particular participant does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund when Yolitia Academy accurately described the course, its approval status, and the participant’s responsibility to verify jurisdiction-specific requirements before purchase.
This section does not limit any remedy that may be available if Yolitia Academy made a material misrepresentation regarding a course’s approval, credentialing status, or continuing education eligibility.
14. Certificates and Educational Records
A participant must satisfy the stated attendance and completion requirements before a CE or completion certificate is issued. Refunds are not provided merely because a participant does not qualify for a certificate after failing to meet those requirements.
Corrections to an Academy error on a certificate will be made without charge. Requests arising from participant-supplied errors, duplicate/replacement certificates, or special administrative services may be subject to a reasonable fee if disclosed before the service is performed.
15. Installment Plans, Automatic Charges, and Recurring Payments
If Yolitia Academy offers a payment plan, membership, subscription, trial-to-paid arrangement, or other recurring-payment feature, the material terms—including the amount or method of determining charges, payment frequency, duration, and cancellation method—will be presented before the recurring arrangement is authorized as required by applicable law.
Where applicable, recurring charges require the consumer authorization required by law. Cancellation stops future charges as provided by the applicable arrangement but does not automatically create a refund right for amounts previously and validly charged, unless required by law or the applicable offer terms.
Canceling a payment plan does not necessarily cancel an underlying amount already owed for a program where the payment plan merely divides a committed tuition or registration price into installments. The applicable enrollment terms will state whether the plan is a cancellable subscription or an installment obligation for a fixed purchase.
16. Failed, Duplicate, or Incorrect Charges
If a payment fails, Yolitia Academy may suspend enrollment or course access until the account is brought current. A duplicate charge or Academy billing error should be reported promptly so that it can be investigated and corrected.
If an Academy transaction appears unauthorized, contact your card issuer or financial institution promptly in addition to notifying Yolitia Academy. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that may apply to billing errors or unauthorized electronic transactions under federal or state law.
17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage participants to contact Yolitia Academy first when a billing or service issue can be resolved directly. However, this request does not waive or restrict any lawful right to dispute a charge with a card issuer or financial institution.
When a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, Yolitia Academy may provide the processor or financial institution with transaction records reasonably necessary to respond, including enrollment confirmations, course-access records, attendance records, communications, applicable policies, and refund history, consistent with applicable privacy law.
If a charge is reversed while a participant continues to receive paid services, Yolitia Academy may suspend access pending resolution of the payment dispute unless prohibited by law.
18. How Approved Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method when technically and legally available. We generally initiate an approved refund within seven (7) business days after final approval, although the participant’s bank, card issuer, or payment processor may require additional time before the credit appears.
If the original payment method is unavailable, expired, closed, or otherwise cannot accept the refund, Yolitia Academy may request additional information and use another lawful refund method. Refunds will not ordinarily be redirected to an unrelated third party.
19. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, cancellation, transfer, or billing review, email:
info@centroyolitia.com |
Include your full name, course or program title, purchase date, email used for registration, a brief explanation of the request, and any relevant supporting information. Do not send full payment-card numbers, bank passwords, or card security codes by email.
20. Satisfaction and Educational Outcomes
Yolitia Academy is committed to providing professional educational content and reasonable support, but education is not a product for which a specific personal, professional, financial, licensing, employment, clinical, or business outcome can be guaranteed.
Unless a particular program expressly advertises a written satisfaction guarantee with stated conditions, no separate money-back guarantee is created merely because a participant is dissatisfied with the teaching style, expected a different outcome, or did not obtain a desired employment, licensing, credentialing, clinical, or financial result.
21. Fraud, Abuse, and Policy Misuse
Yolitia Academy may deny or limit a discretionary refund, credit, transfer, or promotion when there is reasonable evidence of fraud, credential sharing, account misuse, unauthorized redistribution of course content, repeated abuse of refund procedures, falsified attendance or completion records, or other material violation of the Terms and Conditions. This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
22. Physical Products, If Offered
Most Yolitia Academy offerings are digital or service-based. If the Academy separately sells physical books, printed materials, merchandise, or other goods, the shipping, delay, cancellation, return, and refund terms disclosed for those goods and the Yolitia Academy Digital Delivery, Course Access, and Shipping Policy will apply. Physical goods are also subject to any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
23. Privacy and Financial Information
Personal information collected in connection with purchases is handled in accordance with the Yolitia Academy Privacy Policy and applicable law. Payment processors may independently collect and process payment data under their own privacy and security practices.
Educational purchases through Yolitia Academy are separate from clinical services provided by Centro Yolitia LLC. Academy payment and enrollment records should not be treated as psychotherapy or patient records merely because Centro Yolitia LLC also provides clinical services.
24. Changes to This Policy
Yolitia Academy may update this Policy to reflect changes in Academy programs, payment methods, technology, business practices, or applicable law. The updated Policy will display a revised effective or last-updated date.
A material change will not retroactively eliminate a refund or cancellation right that already applied to a completed purchase unless permitted by law and appropriately disclosed. The terms in effect for a specific purchase, together with any program-specific terms, generally govern that transaction.
25. Governing Terms and Consumer Rights
This Policy should be read together with the Yolitia Academy Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Digital Delivery, Course Access, and Shipping Policy, and the disclosures for the applicable program.
To the extent permitted by law, Yolitia Academy operations are governed by the laws specified in the Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this Policy waives a consumer protection, billing dispute, refund, cancellation, or other right that applicable law makes non-waivable.
