Applied Clinical Spanish for Psychotherapists
About this course
Master therapeutic language during sessions to intervene with greater clarity, empathy, and precision. Applied Clinical Spanish for Psychotherapists is a specialized training program for clinicians who see patients in Spanish and want to elevate their therapeutic language to a more precise, empathetic, and effective level. The program trains participants in the use of Spanish as a clinical tool, helping professionals know what to say, how to say it, and how to intervene with greater clarity at key moments in the session. Through guided practice, clinical simulations, and specific feedback, participants strengthen their skills in verbalized listening, validation, probing, tentative formulation, psychoeducation, and the management of boundaries, safety, and the therapeutic alliance. The result is a more mindful, more solid, and more useful clinical voice in daily practice.
